The short version

Reading the directory does not require an account. These pages do not load Google Analytics. If you join the directory newsletter, your email is sent to Brevo. A color-vision choice stays in this browser. The site is hosted on Vercel.

Pages this policy covers

This policy covers getjaan.com pages built with the directory, including the hub,/tools, the comparison guides, /safety, and this page. The Jaan app marketing site at /app and the journal at /app/blog are a separate set of pages. What those pages do is listed at the end.

What we do not collect here

On the pages this policy covers, we do not:

• Ask you to create an account
• Load Google Analytics, an advertising pixel, or a social tracker
• Collect cycle, fertility, or pregnancy notes
• Sell personal information

Listings describe other companies. If you follow a link to one of them, that company’s own privacy policy applies. We do not receive your account or health data from those sites.

Jaan Labs uses the Pinterest API only to publish its own pins to its own Pinterest boards; it does not access or collect visitors' Pinterest data.

Newsletter

The directory newsletter is optional. If you submit an email on the newsletter pageor on a guide, the page sends that address from your browser to Brevo, at api.brevo.com, and adds it to the directory newsletter list. We use it to email you when a listing changes. It is a different list from the Jaan app waitlist.

To be removed, email hello@getjaan.com. We will ask Brevo to delete the address from that list.

Hosting

Vercel hosts these pages. Like other hosts, Vercel can keep standard request logs, such as IP address, browser, and the page requested, as part of delivering the site. We have not added Vercel Analytics or a separate analytics script to these pages.

Type on these pages is self-hosted. The pages do not request fonts from Google.

Saved in this browser

The Color vision control stores your choice in local storage under the key jaan-cv. That value stays on your device. It is not sent to us. Quick exit clears session storage for this site in the browser and leaves the page. It does not upload that storage.

Affiliates and sponsors

Some outbound links may be affiliate links. A sponsor, if one is running, is labeled on the page. Payment and commissions do not change rankings. The details are on the affiliate disclosure. Those arrangements are not a sale of your personal information.

Children

The directory is general information. It is not a place where we ask children for personal information. The newsletter is an email an adult chooses to send. If a child’s address was submitted, emailhello@getjaan.com and we will remove it.

Your requests

If you want the newsletter address deleted, or you have a question about this policy, emailhello@getjaan.com. We aim to answer within three business days. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a company holds. For this directory, the personal information we ask Brevo to hold is the newsletter email.

The app pages, separately

The pages at /app and /app/blog are not covered by the “no analytics” line above. In the current code they:

• Load Google Analytics, measurement ID G-7SWQ9W25PK
• Send a waitlist email to a separate Brevo list when you join the waitlist
• Can load Cloudflare Turnstile when you use the waitlist form, for bot checks
• Store a waitlist timestamp in local storage under jaan_waitlist_ts so the form is not submitted twice in a minute

The Jaan iPhone app is a different product from these websites. Health notes you type in the app are not sent to the directory, and this policy does not claim to govern them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use of the directory after that date means you have the new page in front of you.
